Exclusive Spiritual Experience

Osamedachi Sword Offering Ritual at Oyama Afuri Shrine

Step beyond typical sightseeing with this rare opportunity to explore the sacred grounds of Oyama Afuri Shrine, guided by a Shinto priest.
Take part in the Osamedachi wooden sword offering ritual—a solemn ceremony recognized as part of Japan Heritage.
This experience offers a deeper understanding of Edo-period culture and the spiritual roots of Bushido and Shinto.
The program also features displays and sales of traditional local crafts, such as Oyama Koma (wooden spinning tops), handcrafted by skilled local craftsman.
Participants can engage directly with the only last craftsman and experience elements of Edo-period culture through folk toys and regional crafts.
It also offers meaningful opportunities to connect with both the shrine priest and local artisans.
